NEWPORT NEWS, VA (3/19/18) – Edward D. Warren, director of practice growth for PBMares, LLP, a Top 100 accounting and business-consulting firm with offices in the Mid-Atlantic, is the newly elected board vice president for Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington (SMGW).
SMGW is a 501 (c)(3) and was founded in 1986 when volunteers from Washington, D.C. metropolitan area Episcopal churches met to discuss the best way to help the homeless pursue realistic and attainable goals in a safe environment. They currently serve more than one thousand people each year. Warren served as board treasurer of Strive DC prior to their merger with what is now SMGW in August 2016 and was elected vice president at SMGW’s annual meeting in January 2018.
Warren joined PBMares in 2014 and has more than 25 years of sales, marketing, business development and management experience. In addition to SMGW, he is also a finance committee member for the Association for Accounting Marketing and is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Greater Washington. He earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Baltimore and his master’s in business administration from Loyola University of Maryland.
