Benjamin ‘Bo’ Garner, CPA, MBA, assurance manager and co-leader of not-for-profit Services at PBMares, LLP has been honored as one of CPA Practice Advisor’s 40 Under 40 for his role in helping shape the accounting profession and further advancing the industry through leadership, innovation and collaboration.

Within PBMares, Garner sits on the Firm’s strategic planning and community outreach committees and serves as an on-boarding sponsor to help welcome new employees. He has served as a guest columnist on the GuideStar blog, authored articles for business magazines and has been featured in industry journals. He serves on various committees for the Virginia Society of CPAs, including the young professional advisory committee, and he volunteers to educate college students on the profession. His passion for not-for-profits extends to his own volunteerism with numerous local charities.
