Benjamin ‘Bo’ Garner, CPA, MBA, assurance manager and co-leader of not-for-profit services at PBMares, LLP has been named one of Inside Business: The Hampton Roads Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 for his business leadership, innovation and diverse community support.
“Bo joined PBMares as an intern in college and is now the firm’s youngest industry co-leader,” says Alan Witt, CPA, CEO of PBMares, LLP. “His leadership style encourages relationship building which has ultimately helped contribute to the firm’s bottom line.”

Earlier this year, he graduated from the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s LEAD program and in 2016, was named one of the VSCPA’s Top 5 Under 35. Garner graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Economics and from the College of William & Mary with a Master in Business Administration.
