A certified Intacct Specialist and former QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Susan Steele-Ward brings a thorough knowledge of the latest cloud accounting tools to help businesses establish efficient processes and customized solutions for tracking, evaluating and understanding the numbers that affect their operations – and ultimately, their success. She has also earned the Fundamental Client Advisory Services Certificate, a certification bestowed by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. Trusts and estates are another area of specialty for Susan; she helps clients and colleagues alike create advantageous tax strategies and remain in full compliance with the many regulations that apply to these financial tools.

In addition to clients, she serves the community by sharing her knowledge with civic organizations as a member of the Harrisonburg Rockingham United Way Board of Directors and the Rockingham Education Foundation.

Susan’s family actively supports military activities. Her husband is a retired Navy man and her oldest daughter and son-in-law are both Naval Officers. Her younger daughter lives in the Virginia Tech area and is a graduate of the Hokie school. The family also includes two dogs and two cats. Susan loves animals and supports many local organizations that work in their best interest. She is active in the Beyond the Book Book Club, Lakewood Diner Club, Lakewood Homeowners Association and a former member of the Harrisonburg Court Square Ringers.
