The Economic Bridge Loan Pilot Program has been put forward by the SBA. It is designed to supplement the SBA’s direct disaster loan capabilities and authorizes SBA Express Lenders to provide expedited SBA guaranteed bridge loan financing on an emergency basis in amounts up to $25,000 for disaster-related purposes while small business owners apply for and await long-term financing.

The Montgomery County Public Health Emergency Grant (PHEG) Program was established to provide financial assistance to Montgomery County businesses, including sole proprietors and independent contractors, and nonprofits that have experienced significant financial loss caused directly or indirectly by a public health emergency. Those impacted may be eligible for grants of up to $75,000.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) is new legislation, and constantly in flux.  It contains complexities that cannot be resolved with certainty until regulations are issued and/or courts issue opinions.  While we will advise you about these issues using our professional judgment and knowledge, we cannot guarantee that positions taken on CARES Act matters, including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) will be sustained.
