Harvey Johnson, Partner and Chief Executive Officer of PBMares, LLP, has been recognized as a 2026 C-Suite honoree by Virginia Business. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2020, Johnson has guided PBMares through periods of notable expansion and innovation. He has been instrumental in broadening the firm’s service offerings to meet complex client needs, particularly in the areas of risk advisory and cybersecurity. Under his strategic direction, the firm has continued to build on its reputation for excellence, consistently expanding its footprint and capabilities.

Before his tenure as chief executive, he served as a practice leader, helping establish the firm’s dedicated cybersecurity practice in 2016. Beyond his executive duties, he maintains active leadership roles in the community and industry. He holds board positions with TowneBank Peninsula and RVA757 Connects, alongside memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
