PBMares, LLP, a top 100 accounting firm with offices in Virginia and Maryland, has hired Andrea Sardone as Marketing Director. Sardone, who is based in the Firm’s Newport News office, will take a lead role in the Firm’s growth strategy through the promotion of the brand and development of lead generating marketing initiatives for all business units, service lines and industry niches. Sardone will also help develop and implement best practices in marketing, business development support and segment development.
“Among Andrea’s many marketing and business development experiences, her demonstrated ability to create brand awareness and to execute on lead generation strategies were strong factors in the decision to make her part of the PBMares team,” said Mary Aldrich, COO of PBMares. “Her specialized knowledge in search engine optimization, content marketing and digital campaigns will help us better connect and nurture relationships with our clients, prospects and referral sources.”
Prior to PBMares, Sardone was the Executive Director of Brand and Marketing for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Prior to the Foundation, she was Chief Marketing Officer of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business for William & Mary after being the School’s Director of Marketing Communications. Additional experience includes serving as Marketing Director of Publications at the University of Pittsburgh for the Katz Graduate School of Business, as well as program manager and technical writer for other companies in Pennsylvania.
Sardone earned her bachelor’s in English and her master’s in Information Science from the University of Kentucky.
