Topics covered include first time home buying, tax preparation, renter’s rights, bankruptcy, entrepreneurship, and general financial literacy.

Incorporate financial literacy classes to help those individuals who need assistance be able to learn how to incorporate budgeting in their personal finances. As well, work with a financial advisor to create informational hand outs for all clients that seek assistance.

Project Independence Day Program provides financial literacy for adults with disabilities through necessary supportive software and technical applications. As well, it provides financial planning assistance to families with disabled loved ones.
Hampton Roads Community Action Program Coastal Region (New Bern | Morehead City | Newport News | Norfolk | Williamsburg)
Educates participants in learning the basics about budgeting and credit. Participants will also receive one-on-one assistance from a certified counselor to establish a plan to reach their financial goals.

Bridge the socio-economic divide through a comprehensive curriculum offered weekly and in a virtual setting. Financial literacy education and work-readiness skill building, basic budgeting skills, informed financial goal setting, wealth development, and financial emergencies.
