Unlike most teenagers, Cindy truly enjoyed her accounting classes when in high school, so she naturally chose to pursue the profession as a career. However, she did not initially choose retirement plan administration, the practice she now heads at PBMares. In fact, retirement plan administration chose her through an opportunity that presented itself early in her career, and that’s what she’s focused on ever since.
She specializes in 401(k) and profit-sharing plans for businesses of all sizes, creating plan designs and providing on-going assistance with plan administration. Another area of expertise includes assisting plan sponsors with correcting a variety of plan errors. Not only is she a Certified Public Accountant, she is also a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and has been designated a “Super CPA” by Virginia Business magazine.
Outside of the office, Cindy serves on the board at Community Church and loves to travel, especially to tropical locations.
