Tammy joined PBMares in 2022, bringing 18 years of extensive experience to the firm. Prior to her current role, she was a tax practice business owner, an experience that provided her with firsthand insight into the challenges of building and maintaining a viable practice. She is also a dedicated speaker and educator and has enjoyed presenting for the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, helping graduates navigate the complexities of business ownership, sustainability, and compliance.
Tammy provides tax compliance and consulting services to small and mid-size businesses and their owners. As a member of the International Tax Team, she assists clients with complex global tax issues and strategies. She holds the Advanced Professional Certificate in International Taxation (APCIT) designation, which allows her to offer specialized expertise in international tax from both a U.S. and worldwide perspective. Her goal is to position business owners to maximize opportunities through various incentive regimes (such as FDII and IC-DISC), credits, and deductions, ranging from research and development credits to state incentives.
