Bronach Branan is a Partner with a unique perspective shaped by 30 years in accounting and consulting. Her career includes 20 years in public accounting in the U.S. and 10 years in private industry and consulting in London and Ireland, where she worked across telecommunications, media technology, and banking.
She also spent time at Big 4 firms in management consulting, specializing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementations. This mix of global experience and technical depth positions her to deliver practical, results-driven operational excellence solutions within the firm’s Risk Advisory Services practice.
Bronach began her career in audit and assurance, working with clients in hospitality, construction, government contracting, not-for-profit, and employee benefit plans—including SEC filers. Her consulting experience sparked a lasting interest in operational improvement, which now drives her focus on helping organizations streamline processes and strengthen controls. She applies Lean Six Sigma methodologies to deliver practical, sustainable results and leads firm-wide initiatives focused on continuous improvement. Bronach also contributes to PBMares Operational Excellence AdvisoryWATCH, helps shape departmental training, and presents on risk advisory and audit topics.
Outside of work, Bronach is active in her local community. She chairs the LEAD Alumni Network (LAN), having completed the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s “LEAD Peninsula” program in 2022. She serves on the advisory board and finance committee for Peninsula Catholic High School and is Treasurer and board member for Fear 2 Freedom, a Newport News based non-profit. This year, she also joined the Technology & Innovation Advisory Council of the VSCPA. In addition, Bronach is Treasurer of her neighborhood Homeowners Association and a member of Impact 100 Greater Peninsula.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia and Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), Bronach holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master of Science in Finance from Queens University Belfast, Northern Ireland. She attained her Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma in 2021 and also became a Certified Change Management Practitioner in 2025.
