Dear valued clients and friends of PBMares,
Our thoughts have been with the individuals, businesses and communities that have been affected by COVID-19. In response to the increasing number of cases and uncertainty, I want to make you aware of the precautions PBMares is taking to protect the health and safety of our employees, their families, and our clients while maintaining a consistent level of client service.
We are grateful for the trust you have placed in us over the years. This situation is extremely important to me and has my full attention. I have tasked our Chief Operating Officer with the responsibility of assembling a team to communicate and activate any and all measures necessary to mitigate the impact of the virus (COVID-19) on our clients and our team and they have been planning for many weeks in anticipation of such an event.
We are taking personal protective measures in our offices and stressing preventive action, which includes voluntary home isolation, keeping away from others who are sick, social distancing and proper respiratory etiquette. We have implemented temporary sick leave and remote work policies to accommodate the strain of the virus. We have instructed our client-facing team members to be flexible and exercise good judgement with our clients. We have also implemented procedures for business continuity, such as remote working for personnel. Should this need to happen, we are prepared and can work efficiently and securely to uphold CDC recommendations.
Equally important is our communication with you and timely delivery of our services to you. At this juncture, production is normal, but we are also tracking any changes to agency deadlines such as IRS tax filing deadlines, and will keep you informed.
On behalf of PBMares, I want you to know we take your health and well-being very seriously, as well as the importance of timely and uninterrupted service to you. Should you have a need to discuss the impact COVID-19 has on your business or organization, we are prepared to assist you. Please do not hesitate to email or call us with questions or concerns.
